Burton Morgan* played football and softball for Abbeville High School.

Baseball was not in high school sports in 1942. Burton was a twin of Marvin

(Class of 1939) and a brother of Otha Morgan (Class of  1938) Abbeville High School

 won the State Softball Championship in 1942 and Burton played an important part of

 the team as pitcher. So did Parker O'Neil
