REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
for JULY 1, 2010 - JUNE 30, 2011

This is an RFP for local and long distance phone service for the Vermilion Parish School Board Office. The school board does not currently own its phone system; it is provided by the current provider. All proposals must have a turn key solution either individually or in collaboration with other companies. All collaborations, if needed, must be stated in the proposal and evaluations of the proposals will be combined.

All proposals should provide options for month to month, 3 year and 5 year contracts. All contracts will be contingent upon Erate funding. Erate discount percentage last year was 79%.

Note: This RFP does NOT include our 19 schools.  Each school currently handles their own account. Proposals for local and long distance for the schools should be sent directly to the schools. Note: Data lines and Internet for the district are already under contract. Do not include them in your proposal.
