“It has been an honor to serve the people of District H...we have all worked  together for the benefit of the children of our Parish.  I’ve not only gained a great deal of experience, but have developed the utmost respect for our administration, supervisors, principals, teachers and support staff, all of whom are dedicated to providing a superior education for our children.   

I am particularly proud of our test scores, among the highest in the state!  We can look with pride on a number of achievements as well:  the construction of LeBlanc Elementary, indexing of salaries for all employees, passage of a sales tax to increase employee salaries, the refurbishing of Dozier Elementary and the flood mitigation wall around the school, repairs to Erath High and Middle Schools, the completion of locker room and coaches’ office at EHS and the restoration of the Henry Educational Complex.

There are a number of projects on the horizon that I am working on:  the speedy completion of LeBlanc Elementary so we can evacuate the temporary campus, upgrading drainage at both EHS and EMS, an outdoor pavilion at EMS and bathrooms/concession area at EHS football stadium and  flood mitigation at the Henry Educational Complex, EHS and EMS.”
