EMS SPIRIT SHIRTS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT ORIENTATION FOR $15.00. (ONLY 2015-2016 EMS spirit shirts can be worn every Friday with uniform shorts/pants/skirts. Proceeds from the sale of spirit shirts will be used for the Renaissance Program.)

Note: ID and planner fees must be paid before a spirit shirt can be purchased.

  • COURT APPOINTED CUSTODY PAPERS ARE REQUIRED, in case of

  • divorce, or separation. (You must have an official copy of court ordered papers for the child/children to be in your care at your domicile if you are to be the primary care giver. If you are in the process of getting court ordered custody, you must present a letter from your lawyer  stating that the process has begun.)

Orientation Dates:


• 6th grade – Tuesday, August 4th at 6:00 P.M. in the NVMS gym.
• 7th grade – Wednesday, August 5th at 6:00 P.M. in the NVMS gym.
• 8th grade – Thursday, August 6th at 6:00 P.M. in the NVMS gym.
Orientations are mandatory. Siblings may attend together. NOTE--If 6th grade parents cannot make the 6th grade orientation due to NVHS Freshman orientation, they may attend the Wednesday or Thursday orientation.

This is for new enrollments only. Students coming from feeder schools, Cecil Picard Elementary, Indian Bayou Elementary, and Meaux Elementary do not need to register. Their records will be forwarded to North Vermilion Middle.

Parents/guardians of all students attending NVMS will be required to complete a 2015-2016 Domicile Form and provide a current electric bill.  If the name on the electric bill does not match the name of the student’s custodial parent, then a notarized Vermilion Parish School Board Affidavit must accompany the electric bill.  Domicile Forms are available in the NVMS office and on the website. 

Affidavits may be picked up in the NVMS office.  (See work schedule above.)  Domicile forms must be turned in prior to paying fees and receiving student schedules.  Domicile forms and electric bills can be turned in to the NVMS office during office hours; they  can be mailed, or they can be turned in at orientation.

Student schedules will be handed out at orientation only after domicile forms have been turned in and fees have been paid.
