The New Orleans Jazz Festival is celebrated every  year in New Orleans, Louisiana.  New Orleans is located in Orleans Parish in the Greater New Orleans Region of Louisiana. For one week individuals celebrate the culture, music, and historical practices found in Louisiana.  The official food policy is "No Carnival Foods". Only foods which are unique to Louisiana can be served at the New Orleans Jazz Festival.  There are many vendors serving only local foods or local crafts while various types music can be heard on  11 different stages located through out New Orleans.  There are more than 70 booths with unique food items such as Mango Freeze, crawfish beignets,  alligator sausage po'boy (sandwich), boiled crawfish, soft-shell crab po'boy, and many other dishes.
