Congrats Ms. Cecile DuBois on Your Retirement!

"We Care"

The Dozier Elementary family and Erath community wants to send a heartfelt congratulations to Cecile Dubois who retired in May of 2011 after teaching 45 years. Without a doubt, her presence, kindness and life's calling left "hand prints in the hearts" of her students, colleagues and the Erath community through the years. Thanks Ms. Dubois, you have been a true gift to Dozier Elementary and the Vermilion Parish school system!  You will be missed!

Quote from Cecile Dubois

"From the first day I met my first grade teacher, Mrs. Doris Mae Melancon, I knew I wanted to be a teacher just like her when I “grew up”.  I have never regretted my decision. I have taught kindergarten through fourth grade with the last 33 years in kindergarten. I found it incredibly rewarding to see the growth and development which occurs in my students in their kindergarten year as they discovered the joy of learning"
