Dozier Elementary's PBIS Fall Fest 2012- On Friday, October 26, 2011, Dozier Elementary hosted their 1st PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports) celebration of the year. The program used parish wide is to create positive school environments for the students. Dozier's fall fest, spearheaded by Assistant Principal Natalie Hebert included many fun filled activities resembling a miniature carnival for the children who earned "Bobcat Bucks" to attend. The games included bobbing for suckers, haystack search, pumpkin bean bag toss, pin the nose on the pumpkin, build the skeleton, pumpkin patch ring toss, pumpkin golf, spooky musical chairs, guess how many candy corn. The newly elected Dozier Elementary Student Council members were on hand to help "man" and guide the students at each station. When each grade level entered the cafeteria, Assistant Principal Natalie Hebert, the school's PBIS coordinator explained the stations to the students and how those would work. Each Student Council member was on hand to manage that station. Volunteer mothers were also on hand to help with the fall fest.
