1983 graduate of Erath High School.
Bachelor of Science at USL in
Mathematics Education, with a minor in
Lafayette High School, 1987-88, teaching
Algebra I and Geometry.
Abbeville High School from 1988-1995.
During that time, I taught Algebra I,
Algebra I – Honors, Algebra II,
Trigonometry/Advanced Math and Psychology.
Also during this time I began working on a
Master’s Degree in School Psychology at McNeese State University. This required me
to resign my position at Abbeville High in
1995, order to complete an Internship
requirement. I completed my Internship in
St. Martin Parish and earned a Master of
Arts Degree in 1996. I then continued to
work for St. Martin Parish Pupil Appraisal
In 2001, I was able to obtain a position
with Vermilion Parish Pupil Appraisal,
where I worked as a Certified School
Psychologist from 2001-2012.
I returned to the classroom as a
math/psychology teacher at Erath High in

have three children, Seth, a 2008
graduate of EHS; Cole Bourque, who is a
2012 graduate of EHS; Ali Bourque, a
2016 graduate of EHS.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, being
outdoors, playing with photography,
watching my children, nieces and nephews
sporting events, and spending time with
family and friends.
