• Graduate of Delcambre High School, 1966

• Graduate of Northwestern
  State University,1971 with a liberal arts degree in speech and English

• Graduated
  from Nicholl's State University with a degree in English and speech education

• Obtained a distributive Master's Degree in speech and English education in 1975 from the University of Southwestern Louisiana

• Obtained an Education Specialist Degree in administration and supervision in 1989 from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1989

• Presently, I am teaching English III and IV courses; however, I have taught Englishes I and II and creative writing; Speech I, II, and Dramatics

• Sponsored a very active high school theatre at Abbeville High and the International Thespian Society

• Over the years, I have been various class sponsors, chaired the Academics Award Banquets, chaired Graduation, participated on school accreditation visiting committees, served on state curriculum committees, and taught summer school.

• I have been a teacher/administrator for 35 years and still holding

• I have two sons, Zachary Buck, 24 and Josh Buck,21,and I have a grandson Hayes Buck, 6-mths-old!!!
