At the Louisiana Jr. Beta Convention Thursday, May 1st and Friday, May 2nd held at the Cajundome, two Vermilion Parish schools endorsed and campaigned for a “Jr. Beta” dynamic duo” for office and together they walked away coveting the two top leadership roles in the state’s club.

Carline Poche from Erath Middle was elected President and Kelsey Trahan from North Vermilion claimed the Vice President role.

Caroline Poche is currently a 7th grader at Erath Middle. With the slogan of “Sweet Caroline” the Erath Middle School club campaigned hard for two days to get their nominee elected.
