allowed in vehicles or on floats during the parade.

*Erath High School Parade Route will be as follows: The parade will begin at approximately 12:30 on Broadway at EHS and will head north toward West Edwards. It will take a left on West Edwards. When it gets to the stop sign (at the corner of South Kibbe and West Edwards), it will take a left onto South Kibbe. (The parade will be at the Dozier gates around 12:45 or so. The parade will return to West Primeaux and turn right on South Kibbe and it will end on Hill Street.

    6. Dismissal Procedure(s)

  • Erath High's Dismissal procedure: EHS Students driving and walking will be dismissed immediately after parade and bus riders will load bus after parade. Buses will leave as soon as middle school student board the buses.

  • Erath Middle's Dismissal procedure: After the parade students will return to their homeroom class for dismissal. Bus dismissal will be at approximately 12:50, and walker/car rider dismissal will be at approximately12:55, following normal pick up procedure. EMS leaders ask that parents pick up students in the semi-circle.

  • Dozier Elementary's Dismissal procedure: Early dismissal will be approximately at 1:30 P.M.  After the parade, all students will return to the classrooms to await an approximate 1:30 dismissal. In the past, the school has experienced an overload of parent pickups after the parade. In order to have a smooth, safe, dismissal on this day, leaders ask that parents to allow your child to ride the bus home as usual. They also ask the parents who regularly pick up their children to not be at school until the 1:30 dismissal to alleviate a large amount of traffic for us as well as confusion for the children. No early pickups from school on Homecoming Day.

  • LeBlanc Elementary's Dismissal:  Due to timing and bus issues, LeBlanc Elementary students will not be able attend the parade as a school. They will however, have an early dismissal at 1:30 P.M.
