On Tuesday the 28th of September, 32 members of Mrs. Marilyn Trahan's Fine Arts class and Piano Lab classes accepted an invitation to attend a live rehearsal by the ULL Symphony Orchestra. Director Michael Blaney explained that the selections practiced will be performed  during their upcoming Halloween performance on October 30th. The Fine Arts class is in the first nine weeks of a thirty six week program. This viewing of the orchestra ignited the  closing of the music part of the curriculum. After the performance the students enjoyed supper at the Golden Corral. An art-walk downtown Lafayette will accompany the art section. Hands-on activities through ULL will highlight the Drama and Dance sections of the program. Senior Bryce Monteaux is pictured with Mr. Blaney. Bryce plans to major in music next year.
