Principal’s Message:
Summer is here with its promise of rest and recuperation from a productive year.  Students and teachers alike need this break to be rejuvenated for the next year.  Encourage your student to read as a form of relaxation this summer.  Not only will it be a different vacation with each book read, but it will help them retain the skills they have gained through this school year.
Thanks for another fabulous school year.  I am looking forward to working with you and your children again next year.
Feel free to call me at school with questions or concerns.  Remember "It is always a great day to be a Bobcat!"

Excused Absences - Parents please note that any time your child is checked in or out, a doctor’s excuse or parent note is still required for the check in or out to be excused.  The slip that you sign in the office is the student’s pass to class or the school’s record of their check out and not a legitimate excuse.

Checkout:  No checkouts after 2:00 P.M.

Parents are reminded that your child can only miss 12 days for the year.  VPSB Policy!

Parents:  Whenever you send money in to school for anything, be sure to place your child’s first name, middle initial and last name on the envelope or check, along with his/her grade.  We have students with the same first and last name.  Thank you.

Parents please let your child know in the morning how they are getting home, especially during rainy days.  It is sometimes difficult to get that message to your child in the afternoon.
