GRADE 8 - Ross Granger
 

   

     Ross Granger, an 8th grader at Erath Middle School, has been nominated as the Student of the Year for 2010-2011.  He is the son of Dana and Nathan Granger of Erath.  He has three siblings:  Mason, Hannah, and Regan.  Ross’ hobbies include playing baseball, basketball, and football.  He is very proud to be a part of the EMS football team whom were undefeated for the 2010 season.  He currently plays baseball for the USSSA travel team.  He also enjoys reading, and his favorite series are The Dragonback books by Timothy Zahn.  He is also in the Erath Middle School Symphonic Band where he holds first chair in the trumpet section.  He has participated in district and parish honor band for the last two years.  He enjoys playing video games and going camping with his family.  In the future, Ross plans on attending LSU in Baton Rouge to major in Architectural Engineering.
