In order to fulfill mandates of the new federal "No Child Left Behind" legislation, our school is now developing a new School Improvement Plan. Our new plan will address identified needs relative to our instructional program by utilizing research-based strategies that will continue to improve student performance. In addition, a committee of school staff and other stake holders has revised our school mission statement to read: "Working hand in hand to create high-achieving, lifelong learners."
We invite you to attend Parent Night at 6:00 pm on Monday, August 29th. We will have a number of relevant Presentations for parents that we hope will be the beginning of a renewed effort to work "hand in hand" to achieve our mission.
Along with the new, this school year will also bring a continuation of the
strategies, programs, and activities that are unique to F.I.E.B. Elementary. The school year will be challenging for teachers, students, and parents alike, but with your involvement and support it will also be fun, productive, and rewarding. As principal, I look forward to what promises to be a successful school year. We, as a staff, are proud of our school and our students, and are humbled by your generous support and commitment to the school community.
