Story Chain Example 3
1. Look at the graph that was created by the teacher.  Each student listed received stars.

2.  Write a story chain. First write two facts that is shown in the chart. Then write one question and the answer which correlates to the graph.

State a fact:  Jan has the least amount with only one star.

State a fact:  Joe has two stars.

Write a question: How many stars do Will and Sam have together?

Write the answer:  Will has seven and Sam has five stars. They have twelve stars altogether.
