JOES School Report Card!


I. New Student Registration:  August 1, 2016 – August 11, 2016
7am – 2 pm. What is needed?  The legal guardian must be present with the following documents:

1.  Original state certified birth certificate

2.  Child’s social security card

3.  Child’s immunization record

4. Custody papers, if applicable

5.  Two forms of proof of domicile. Documents must show a physical address, not a post office box number.

Current electric bill is required, in legal guardian’s name (If electric bill is in name other than legal guardian, then a Vermilion Parish School Board Affidavit verifying student residence must be completed. Affidavit forms are available in school office.)

  • Water or gas bill, Apartment or house lease receipt or documentation providing ownership, Filed Homestead Exemption Application Form, Placement by OC

6. 2 Proofs of income (for Pre-K only)

  2 most recent pay stubs for each employed household member, OR  W-2 forms for 2015 income records, OR Federal income tax return form 1040 for 2015 per household member.

II. Meet & Greet: Thursday, August 11, 2016    5:00 pm – 6:30 pm @ JOES to drop off supplies and meet your teacher.

III.  1st Day of School grades 1-5:  Friday, August 12, 2016

IV.  Pre-K Parent Meeting: Friday, August 12 @ 9 am in Pre-K room.

V.  Kindergarten  Parent Meeting: Friday, August 12 @ 10 am in K rooms.

VI.  Wednesday, August 17: Pre-K & K 1st Day of School  

VII. Open House: Thursday, September 8, 2016, 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
