1. Question: Why can't I open a Microsoft Word File? Answer: Many new files saved with a later version of a software cannot be opened by an earlier version. For example, you can not open a Microsoft Word 2007 file with the regular Microsoft Word XP or 2003 Software. There is a Compatibility Patch, however, that can be downloaded so that any 2007 office file can be opened by an earlier version. This Patch will allow you to open a Microsoft Word 2007 document even if you only have Microsoft 2003 on your computer. To download this file go to My Computer; Public on Snoopy; Software; MS Office 2007 Compatibility Pack then double click the file in this folder to install. 2. Question: Where can I find Microsoft Office 2007 in on our Parish Server? Answer: Go to My Computer; Public on Snoopy; Software; Office 2007. You can download the file from this folder. 3. Where can I find Microsoft Office 2007 online? You can download it from here. Click download. You will see a box pop up. Click save. Once it is finished downloading, click the icon and install the software. Once installed, you should be able to open 2007 documents/powerpoints with your 2003 program. |
