On March 31, 2012, the Regional Social Studies Fair took place at the Cajun Dome Convention Center. Seth Sonnier from LeBlanc Elementary placed 3rd with his project titled "Bienvenue A' Natchitoches" See more!

LEBLANC ELEMENTARY RECEIVES LAURA BUSH FOUNDATION FOR AMERICA’S LIBRARIES GRANT

On March 1, 2012, school and parish representatives traveled to Chalmette High School for the 2012 Grant Awards Ceremony. LeBlanc Elementary received a $20,000 grant to fund library books and magazine subscriptions from the Laura Bush Foundation. The award will allow LeBlanc Elementary to grow the library, providing additional books for students and teachers. On hand to receive the grant were (l-r), Patricia Thibodeaux, VPSB Curriculum Facilitator, Grant Writer; Alison Romero, LeBlanc Elementary Student of the Year; Mrs. Bush, and Dawn Amy, Principal.
