Welcome to new the Vermilion Parish “Louisiana for Kids" Page. The goal of this web site is to help students develop a better understanding of the rich heritage and culture of Louisiana.

Our Vermilion Parish for Kids site was established in 2005 and has been a successful resource with teachers, parents and students. In an effort to continue our quest in connecting our students with technology, we opted to have state site as well.

Through this ongoing project, the goal is for children will continue to learn more about Louisiana. With a pride in our pride in our unique state culture, history and heritage, it is our hope this site might offer students and educators help in discovering more about Louisiana
