May Professional Developments

During the month of May, Vermilion Parish science teachers engaged in professional development involving Pasco GLX data logger technology. 



Getting acquainted with the instrument involving data acquisition and analysis was the objective of these workshops.  During the workshops participants engaged in real hands-on science scenarios promoting inquiry.





Using fruit as an electrolyte to measure the difference of potential generated by different metals.


Discovering the instrument.


Transferring data from one data logger to another.


Recording temperature data showing the rate of evaporation.
