       This is what I learned from our news cast. I learned Louisiana really had 59 Governors since 1812. I learned what national news was. I learned what state level news was. I learned what local news was.

 

      I learned that John Adams and John Quincy Adams were father and son Presidents. I learned that George Bush Sr. and George Bush Jr. were father and son Presidents too. I learned that Governor Huey P. Long was shot and assassinated. I learned that Kathleen Babineaux Blanco was Louisiana’s first woman Governor.

     Hi my name is Hope Sims. I learned a lot from our K-DOZ TV 2 newscast. I helped film it. It was so much fun. I learned that our weather report had a three day forecast. I also learned that the first woman Governor in Louisiana was Kathleen Babineaux Blanco. And Governor Kathleen Blanco is the 59th Governor now. She was elected in November 2003 too. Also she took office on January 12, 2004. Also a Governor runs the state. I learned that John Adams and John Quincy Adams were father and son Presidents too. I learned that a Governor can be assassinated. Our news had a mail call. And I learned that D.L. Menard was a son of Erath. Last I learned that one Governor made up a song called “You Are My Sunshine” and sang it. Also I learned that the news interviews people. And that they have National News.  On the National news I learned that across the USA there will be an election November 2, 2004. We will vote between George Bush and John Kerry.  Also we learned about state news and local news. I learned on the local news that around the area Erath will become 105 years old on May 16th. That’s all I learned and that’s all for now bye!

 

All About The Newscast

      The K-DOZ newscast was really fun! I learned that computers were invented around 1970 & only NASA & the Government could afford them. There were 59 governors in Louisiana. There were around 86 governors in the Louisiana spot. There were 43 presidents. There were 2 pairs of father & son presidents. Kathleen B. Blanco was the 1st woman Governor in Louisiana. Erath will become 105 years old on May 16, 2004. The presidential election is going to be held on November 2, 2004 between George Bush & John Kerry. Kathleen Blanco was the 59th governor since 1812. Weather is important. If the weather people didn’t tell us the weather when there was a tornado, we could get hurt.

       Here is what I learned in the newscast. I learned that Kathleen Blanco was the first women to be Governor in Louisiana. And I learned that we have only had one President and 50 Governors just like the states. And I learned that DL Menard from Erath has traveled all around the world. And I learned that George Bush Sr. and Jr. shared their names. And the election for President will be held on November 2, 2004. Kathleen Blanco became the 59th Governor in 2004. And Erath will become 105 years old on May 16, 2004.  Kathleen Blanco took office on January 12, 2004.  I learned that Huey P. Long was the 40th Governor and he was assassinated too like Abe. And we learned about weather.  We learned that America will vote for President soon.  John Kerry and George Bush Jr. are running. And we learned how technology helps us. We learned about computers and how one Governor died because A MAN SHOT HIM.

         I loved learning from the Newscast. I know that Governor Kathleen Blanco was the first woman Governor in the Louisiana she was the 59th Governor. She took office on January 12, 2004. And I learned that John Adams was the 2nd President in the United States and his son John Quincy Adams was the 6th one.  And a Governor runs a State. National means Across USA. Erath will become 105 years old on May 16th. Mr. D.L sings Cajun Music and French Music. And we learned about weather like High 70 and Low 60. And the Presidential Election is on November 2, 2004. We will vote new for a new President. George Bush Jr. and John Kerry are running. And we had something called Like Father, like Son.  It was about father and sons Presidents. And with Technology, Hannah Trahan and Alec Toups asked Mr. Jude (Dubois) a lot of questions when they interviewed him about computers.

National means across the nation. Louisiana is a state. I love learning about the governors. Kathleen Babineaux Blanco is the fifty-ninth governor. On January 12, 2004 Kathleen Babineaux Blanco became governor. National means across the USA. The presidential election was on November 2, 2004. We will vote new a new President. George Bush Jr. and Sr. are father and son. Local means around the area. Erath will turn 105 years old on May 16, 2004.       What I learned about the newscast so far? I learned that Kathleen Babineaux Blanco was the 59th governor to run the state. A President runs a country like the United States of America. We learned about the governors that were voted in for two times or more. And we learned that some did one or two terms. And we know that the Governor Kathleen Blanco took the place of Governor Mike Foster. And we know that the Governor runs the state. Since 1812, she was the 59th governor. Kathleen Babineaux. Blanco became the 59th Governor in Louisiana on January 12, 2004. She took the place of Mike Foster. She was the first woman governor for Louisiana. The presidential Election will be on November 2, 2004. Kathleen Blanco will run our state. We will vote for a new president. It will be either George Bush Jr. or John Kerry. John Adams was the 2nd president and John Quincy Adams was the 6th president.  Around the area Erath will become 105 years old on May 16th.  Mr. Jude is the technology boss here.  Technology helps us learn.

      This is what I learned on KDOZ TV 2 News.  I learned that we had a Governor that was assassinated.  We have the first women Governor now in Louisiana. “Nation” means across the USA. The President runs the nation. There are two Bushes that were Presidents. Technology is not games.  Erath will be 105 years old on May 16, 2004. Erath’s musical son DL Menard went all around the world. The presidential election will be November 2, 2004. The two bushes were father and son. Kathleen Blanco was the first woman Governor in Louisiana. A Governor runs a state. Kathleen Blanco is the Governor now. We learned about storms.  I learned a lot on K-DOZ TV 2.

           Our newscast was fun. We learned a lot about technology. We had 2 Presidents who were dads and sons. I learned that there were 59 Governors in Louisiana. We had one girl Governor and her name is Kathleen Blanco. I also know the 2nd President and the 6th President were dad and son.  Across the U.S.A we learned that the President’s election will be on November 2, 2004.  The USA will vote for President. It will be George Bush Jr. or John Kerry.  Around the area, Erath will become 105 years old on May 16, 2004.  Since 1812 Louisiana has had 59 Governors. Kathleen Blanco is the 59th.  She took office January 12, 2004 as the first woman Governor in Louisiana. I leaned that weather can be bad. A tornado and a hurricane can be bad and hurt people.

       Our newscast was fun. I learned that Louisiana has had 59 Governors. I also learned we had 2 Presidents that had a Dad President. I learned Kathleen Blanco was the 59th Governor for Louisiana. I learned John Adams was the father and John Quincy Adams was the son.  They were Presidents. Around Erath, DL is singing at the 4th of July this year. Erath will be come 105 years old on May 16, 2004. Across the USA the Presidential Election will be on November 2, 2004.  Governor Blanco took office on January 12, 2004. Weather part of the newscast was hard to learn because we had to memorize it. But it is fun at the same time. Sports were the easiest on the newscast.  All we had to do is read it.

       I learned that D.L.  Menard is a musician.  I learned that we had one woman governor.  Some people think that Governor Huey P. Long was killed by a guard.  Mrs. Kathleen Blanco was the 59th governor.  We did not have 87 governors since 1812, we just had 59. US stands  for United States. I learned what national means. I learned what local means. I learned about weather.  I learned about sports.  Governor Blanco took office in January of 2004.  Huey P.  Long was the 40th Louisiana Governor. He was assassinated.  There is an election in November. Erath will be 105 years old on May 16th. That’s all. I hope you like it!

         K-DOZ TV 2 taught me a lot about weather.  It has showed me that has had 59 governors. Louisiana has had 58 male governors and only one female governor. Her name is Kathleen Babineaux Blanco. She was the first Louisiana woman governor we ever had. Kathleen Blanco took over Governor Mike Foster’s place.  A President runs a country. Kathleen Blanco is a good governor.  I hope she makes good choices. Kathleen Blanco is from the USA. I hope Kathleen Blanco is a good governor.
