Tech Coach Plans

1.   Look at Curriculum site and open the site map. Explore the Grade level items, Core subject  area.

2.   Open the Quick tips. The quick tip pages are basically “generic” sites which can help when extra material is needed for lessons. Each core subject has a link. Revamped sites. Look over those for new sites and see the new links posted the past few weeks.

3.   Technology Site on the right has been completely revamped.

4.    Digital tools and web 2.0 - TONS of new things to search.

5.   Open a delicious account and have them bookmark sites in delicious@ http://delicious.com.  Example: http://delicious.com/stacybodin site set up. Best thing is that you can do this from home or school and is always there.

6.   Explore the new video section or the interactive library. Bookmark in delicious. The right side of the interactive library has entire sites filled with things they might find helpful. Some are new sites or sites with new postings!

7.   Look over the Copyright section on the tech page and Choose sites which would benefit your teachers.  Bookmark in delicious.

8.   Neat copyright tools that can help.

9.   Look over the internet safety - Choose two sites which would benefit your teachers.  Bookmark in delicious.

10.   New Avatar link under the web 2.0 page. http://www.vrml.k12.la.us/curriculum/tech/avatar/avatars.htm.  Really easy ones at the bottom. 

11.   Now email your new delicious URL’s to Stacy @ stacybodin@aol.com or smbodin@vrml.k12.la.us
