School Mascot
Student Council

The Student Council program gives children the opportunity to use their
talents
and to develop responsibility. It increases school spirit and is
an excellent tool for
building leadership skills in the students. Officers are elected
by the student body and representatives are elected by each class. Students in grades
5-8 are eligible to run for offices and grades 2-8 are represented. All
members of the
Student Council must have and maintain a 2.5 average or better in all subjects and a B average
or better in conduct.
Beta Club
The National Junior Beta Club is a leadership - service club. The
purpose ofthe organization is to encourage effort, to reward merit, and topromote good
citizenship. Students in grades 6-8 who, in the opinion of the administration
and faculty are of worthy character, good mentality, credible achievement, commendable attitude, and
committed responsibility are eligible for

4-H
4-H is an educational program that helps young people develop new skills,
explore possible career choices and serve their communities as responsible citizens.
Members also learn to make decisions to deal with stress, and to build
a good self-image. The 4-H'ers pledge their head, heart, hands, and health

Yearbook
The St. Peter School Yearbook reflects the students and activities of the
current year. This activity provides the students with opportunities for
writing creatively and
developing other areas of expertise in yearbook development. It is
published by the 8th grade class and sponsor Kana Hargrave
Field Trips
Field Trips taken by the individual classes are privileges afforded to
students.
