Welcome to Gueydan, Louisiana.  This small community's downtown area features a children's park, a gazebo, gift shops featuring local crafts, and outdoor murals.  Gueydan is located on one of the major north/south flyways and is known for its excellent hunting clubs which provide guides and lodging for the hunt of a lifetime.  While traveling to Gueydan via Highway 14,  you'll pass through the small community of Mulvey which is located on the 90th meridian, the commonly referred to line of demarcation between the east and west United States.
