Go in your start menu and locate “Excel”
(It may be located in
your Microsoft Office” Set Up) |

Under “A” column near #1, type in the City Name “Abbeville”. |

Now slide to Column B (still on line 1) and type in the
population “11,887” |

Under “A” column near #2, type in the City Name “Kaplan”. |

Now slide to Column B (still on line 2) and type in the
population “5,177” |

6.
Under “A” column near #3, type in the City Name “Erath”. |
|
7.
Now slide to Column B (still on line 3) and type in the
population “2,187” |

8.
Under “A” column near #4, type in the City Name “Delcambre”. |

9.
Now slide to Column B (still on line 4) and type in the
population “2,168” |

10.
Under “A” column near #5, type in the City Name “Gueydan”. |

11.
Now slide to Column B (still on line 6) and type in the
population “1,598” |

Under “A” column near #1, type in the City Name “Maurice”. |

Now slide to Column B (still on line 6) and type in the
population “642” |

Once the data for this entered, go to “the last box and click on
the cursor and leave it down then draw it to the left (toward Maurice)
and then drag it straight up. |

Now go under “Insert” at the top and click “Charts” and decide
the type of chart you want to display. |

Click “Next” at the bottom. |

Type in the Title “Vermilion Parish Population. |

Then click the button that says “as new sheet” and title it “VP
Pop” and click finish. |

20.
For different color bars, click on the bar itself and you will
see the color chart pop up. Choose the color you want. |

21.
Go to the top menu and find “file”. Then drag it down and find
“SAVE DATA SET AS” and click on that. |
|
22.
Save the data as your initials or name and VP POP on the desktop. |
